Another fitness app pounding the algorithm:

GymBros was released in April 2023.
A few weeks later, they started posting on main accs on TikTok (tt@gymbros_app) and Reels (ig@gymbros_app).
Their content strategy seems strongly inspired by Stronger Mobile (tt@strongermobile), launched one year earlier.
Mix between faceful and faceless content + testing different formats and hooks:

Seems like they’re testing different types of format.

All videos are the same.
Background footage of guy lifting + app ranking overlay + same hook => “GymBros App Ranks”.
Started 8 months ago, no video went viral yet => 150,000 views total But, account 2 (tt@samsulekdailyrank):
New account fully managed by fitness influencer Sam Sulek.
Faceful content with how Sam ranks in different fitness categories (+ text hook).
Started 24 days ago => 9,076,000 views total.
Impossible to know what will work without pushing out content and testing the algorithm.
Test, track, delete low perf accs, double-down on viral formats.
