Recently came across this “Call Santa” app that has been around for 10 years and did $100K MRR last month (600K downloads).
Seasonality is not necessarily bad thing for your app, if you get it done right.
They post throughout the whole year to keep accounts active and running, and then they double down in posting frequency right after Halloween.
They have one main account on TikTok & 7+ on Instagram (one per country). They also do some micro-influencer partnerships with parenting creators.
Their best performing videos feature the screen-recording of app call plus the reaction of the kids.
