85 > 65k views (10x median) 700k users. Done as an indie hacker.

@JackFullertonn StrongerMobile’s TikTok strategy:

Nothing better than small mobile app owners outperforming TikTok while highly funded B2C companies struggle to get any users.

98% of Jack’s high-performing videos are slideshows, an image format used on TikTok that is crazy popular in certain niches.

If you’re not familiar with short-form content, you might be wondering: how is this performing so well.

Two things:

1) in the short-form world, you don’t judge content, you judge results, and

2) as mentioned above, slideshows are HUGE in certain sub-niches.

Find the associated TikTok subculture, and adapt your content format accordingly.

Jack understands this and he is crushing it.

The hook is always short, catches your attention, creates tension, and leaves you waiting for it to release.

“Grandpa was right” “Skipping legs…” “Suddenly I realized” “Showing up in the gym”

The second or third slide, the “tension releasing slide”, always showcases the app, sometimes with text, sometimes raw.

The hook is often “controversial” (within the niche’s sub culture), creating conversation and engagement in comments.

In those, there are dozens of comments asking, “app name?”. FOMO.

Jack won. Check for yourself strongermobile.

Once you find a hit, rinse and repeat.

He often uses the same hook again and again after finding a winner (ref in the image).

He even uses similar images once he finds ones that work.

CONSISTENCY + QUANTITY is the golden recipe.
