2 brothers launched a stop-scroll app in 2022

Currently at $20K MRR over 40K/mo downloads

Takes less than 2h/week to replicate their most viral TikTok format (40M views):

BePresent is a productivity & screen-time app founded by brothers Jack & Charles Winston

They are running 7 TikTok accounts & 2 on IG Reels.

Up until last summer,

They had only one account tt@screentimejesus

That’s Jack’s founder account with 4,409,000 total views

Not much, but all viral videos followed this same format:

Jack recording himself talking, holding phone/camera while recording

And title hook overlay “Signs you need a dopamine detox” // “How I reduced my screen time from 7h+ to 1h”, etc

In April last year, they replicated same strategy:

And created Charles’ founder account

Only 144,000 views total & just one viral video

Almost all videos are a recording of his face outside + white text overlay

Interestingly, they insisted on this format on 2 other accounts:

tt@bepresentbros => 3rd founder account for both brothers

By far their best performing acc => 40,400,000 total views

They alternate between two similar (viral) formats:

Same video style as above (face recordings mostly outside + long text hook overlay)

They drink/eat/smile/walk but never talk to the camera & they always add a trending audio

=> 7.7M views // 112K likes // 825 comments // 6K bookmarks

Cover photo with creator selfie + long white text overlay (similar to videos above)

After 1st slide, the rest are all in-app screenshots/phone pictures w/ text desc

=> 8.9M views // 215K likes // 419 comments // 50K bookmarks

Clever detail here:

They recycle the same cover photo more than once

Desk photo used 4x, car selfie used 6x, walking used 2x

This last one has two videos: one got 0 views, another did 2.9M

Crazy easy to bulk produce

You can take 5 selfies in 10 mins, write 7 hook variations in 30mins and you have content for a whole week

This blonde girl creator now has her own BePresent account (tt@el.bepresent)

Started posting one month ago, 1x day

Still not performing (44K views), but posting the exact same content type

Curious to see if they’ll expand their UGC creator network like so many others are doing
