Astrology apps: viral formats & how to distribute on TikTok
Astrology apps are 100% a distribution play.
This one below hit $90K MRR & 80K downloads experimenting with 5 different short form video formats.
It’s a gold mine for organic TikTok/IG.
Having explored the market broadly, most of those apps are similar.
Past a good product (like Co-Star or The Pattern), AstroClub also figured that it’s about distribution.

Most recent channel started in November. They’ve reached 1.6M views with 38 slideshows. They’re posting once a every few days with the same format:

Straightforward to make with re-purposed content (can outsource the designs past discovery) and generate a ton of engagement & shares (%cr to downloads? questionable, prob low)

Well edited videos performing well. Can be recorded in quantity and are mixed & remixed. Some did millions of views and shares/engagement. They’ve mixed this format with more vlog/explanatory videos (not sure why)

They used to have this one ugc creator consistently posting on this account.
They’ve moved to having different ugc content mixed with some AI content (not sure how performant this is now)

Most recent account where they push daily horoscopes.
It’s not yet performing but they keep posting daily.
tt@astroclub.zodiacs has other horoscopes & zodiac readings. This performs better than the previous one, with almost a million views and bookmarks.
